Hi I’m Cheryl the fun loving, details obsessed, high energy Wedding Planner behind Cheryl Djan Weddings. With over 10 years experience of planning weddings, my focus has always been to provide a professional services without losing the personal touch.
I have been an Event Planner for Kidcare International a UK based Charity since 2011 planning their Black Tie Events, Gala Dinners, Funfairs and so much more. Growing up with my Dad being a Senior Minister in the Church, naturally I became the onsite Wedding Ceremony Coordinator for all the Weddings held in the Church, local Churches, referrals to other venues and things evolved from there.
And honestly, I have loved every moment! From the initial meeting with a couple hearing their love story to waving them off at their reception to start their new life together!
When I am not organising Weddings I am an HR Consultant & Operations Manager. This has been the key to developing effective relationships with people and juggling multiple tasks - both of these skills I have needed to plan Weddings successfully!
Most couples I have worked with will tell you I have an enthusiastic, high energy detailed approach but still remain focused, tentatively listening to my clients requirements every step of the way.
